The tour starts on Mayne Island, located in the Gulf Islands.

You can reach Mayne Islands from Swartz Bay near Victoria. Victoria, the beautiful capital city of British Columbia, is easily accessible by ferry from Vancouver, and Seattle, Washington. Please visit www.bcferries.com for Schedules and Fares. You can also reach Mayne Island from Vancouver Tsawwassen ferry terminal.

Major airlines fly from Vancouver and Seattle to Victoria International Airport, located north of Victoria. Airport shuttle buses are available. The ride downtown takes 30 minutes.

For Americans, you may choose to fly into Seattle and take the high speed catamaran from the harbour in downtown Seattle to Victoria harbour, in the centre of the city.

	Oceanwood Inn, Mayne Island This secluded Inn boasts an idyllic location on its own private cove with beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings. Relax in the outdoor hot tub, cozy library, or classical music lounge before savouring a meal in the award winning restaurant.
	Harbour House Inn , Salt Spring Island This 3-star hotel is modest, yet comfortable and has a great location close to town; they have a new organic garden and restaurant, but the luxe choice, Hastings House, is definitely worthwile if you want to splurge.

	Anchor Point, Salt Spring Island Saltspring Island is filled with B&Bs and this is one of our favourites. Located 1.8km outside of Ganges, the rooms are charming, there is a hot tub on the deck, and it boasts superb breakfasts. Other B&B's we use include Wisteria, Salt Spring Inn, and Monivea B&B
	Fernhill B&B, Mayne Island Comfortable rooms in a charming home with delicious breakfasts. Enjoy the magnificent views from flagstone patio or relax on the willow swing on the hillside.
