Chambord is located approximately 250 km southwest of Paris.
To reach Chambord you need to take a train to Blois and then a taxi to your accommodation.

Day 1
Arrive at your accommodation. Your bikes are waiting for you. Visit Chambord, the largest château of the Loire Valley, then pedal or stroll through the Bois de Boulogne, the surrounding forest and wildlife preserve that’s the largest enclosed forest park in Europe. Cycle and walk in the vicinity of the Chambord, enjoying the lovely forest. Length 48 km from Chambord. Our area manager will give you the bikes and a briefing for the tour.
Day 2
Cycle past chateaux, chateaux and yet more châteaux! These are the true highlights of the Loire. Cycle past Chambord, Villesavin, Cheverny, Troussay and Beauregard plus other minor castles. Budget lots of time for visits too. The suggested route is 53 km.
Day 3
Pedal to Beaugency, a pretty medieval town where it is possible to walk along the riverbank. Total distance from Chambord castle is 55 km.
Day 4
There’s time for a ride to the beguiling town of Blois, with its narrow, hilly streets and romantic courtyards and gardens before you depart for your next adventure. The chateau at Blois is worth every minute of the trip there. It is one the most interesting and historic in the Loire valley and is worth the trip by itself. In addition, Blois is an attractive town with various museums, churches and numerous restaurants and shops. Distance is 32 km.
